Requirements: completed secondary education

Duration: 8 months

Hours in training center: 600

Hours in company / on the project: 200

The certificate is received after the written and practical exams at the end of the program.

Program price: € 3500- excl. VAT

The price of the program includes a German language course A1.1 for each participant.

Short description:

Mechatronic technician is a post-secondary program that qualifies existing or new employees for higher-level duties within the production process.

The program is based on modern dual didactics, focused on relevant content and activity-based learning, both in the training center and in the company.

Professional skills:

A Mechatronic technician is qualified for performing a broad range of tasks in the sphere of mechatronics. The learner will acquire mandatory skills in mechanics, electronics and IT, thus gain knowledge on the role of technology in the industry.

The duration of the program is one year. It consists of different modules and a project phase. The project represents a combination of theoretical instruction and practical training in a real work environment. Some of the topical fields discussed during the training course are hydraulics and pneumatic, material science, applied mechanics, programmable logical controllers, digital electronics, testing and measuring instruments, automation and control systems, microcontrollers.

Training is intended for all technically oriented individuals wishing to have an interesting career and qualification that provides for a broad range of business opportunities.

Company Mentoring Program

Individual students can apply before or during the course start for our Company Mentoring Program.

Participating mentors from companies will actively guide students during the course, give a personal insight into their production facilities and facilitate dual education and training at their site.

Participating companies offer a payback of up to 50% of the total course fee (up to 1.200€ plus VAT) during the first year of productive work at their site.

Participation is based and dependent on a mutual agreement between the learner and the company.
